Amazing!

i couldnt have ask for more! all the particles on my iphone! thats amazing! :D ありがとうごさいます

I love this app

I use it almost everyday. But if the flashcard function could also have some example sentences/conjugations along with the definition I think it would be a lot more useful.

Worth every penny

Best Japanese dictionary. I am very happy with my purchase. The app is a pleasure to use.

Incredibly useful!

I have used many Japanese dictionary/translators over the years and this is the best. It has a large dictionary including many specialized terms that other apps dont have. It is very versatile and I really like being able to add notes to bookmarks. The only feature I wish it had is the ability to personalize it with my own words and definitions. Other than that, highly recommended!

最高!

Exactly what I was looking for. Was using ShinKanji before Midori and I can say Midori absolutely blows it out of the water. Its very fast, responsive and looks polished. Would buy again

GOOD APP!!!

I really thank the developer of this wonderful App. It is fast, complete and easy to handle especially after the latest update. And very affordable too. It offers also a bigger pad for handwriting kanji useful especially on iPhone and iPod. Yet still a little space for improvement at least relatively to the conjugations of the verbs. Imperative and causative-passive, these two forms, are missing. However this is a tiny issue in my opinion and I am sure about the fact it will be improved next. I have several other En-Jp dictionaries but this one has become my favorite!!! I LOVE IT!!!

Perfect!

This app is super helpful and awesome.. nuff said!

Excellent app

Im very glad I bought this app. I took into consideration of not buying it, as it says on the app site, but Im glad I chose to get it. 5s I just wanted to update. Ive been using this for my Japanese study, and this app absolutely wastes no time. You get your answers much quicker than any other application there is. Its the quickest Ive ever experienced. Im very satisfied with the ONLY UPDATED JLPT FLASHCARD SYSTEM( They dont mix any of the levels together like some other apps I have bought. You get the EXACT KANJI TO STUDY FOR THE JLPT LEVEL 1-5 AND ARE NOT LEFT GUESSING IF YOU NEEDED TO STUDY THAT KANJI because they mixed a couple levels together). There may be others BUT I doubt they offer the extras and the updated JLPT service as this one does. These guys should be working for Apple.

Best dictionary ever!

If you are studying Japanese, this will be your best friend.

The best tool for Japanese language learners

Easy to use, complete and with great support!!!

Wow!!!

This app is really nice!!! It really help me learning kanji. love it.

Awesome!

This is just too dope! Just bought it a few minutes ago and cant live without it already! Was using a half assed dictionary which uses chinese handwriting recognition up until now. But this one is different, its got its own built-in Japanese Handwriting recog! Great stuff!

In a word,

For intermediate and advanced users of the Japanese language this is one of the best applications I have come across to enhance and accelerate ones knowledge and grasp of the written Japanese language. The only enhance I would like to see, would be automatic switching to English-Japanese, Japanese-English, or Kanji lookup dictionaries based on the input being searched. RIght now one must first select, E-J, J-E, etc before performing the search. But this is only a minor issue. Overall, this is a well-developed dictionary and highly recommended for those involved with reading / writing Japanese. Keep up the good work with this project! :-)

Worth every cent!

The layout that shows definitions with your pasted text is excellent. Appreciate the used of furigana with the kanji. J>E input can be done with either kana or romaji, so no need to switch IME. Useful for either students of Japanese or for basic translation work. Examples of the searched items can be quite extensive allowing one to understand meanings and usage through repetition. Have purchased numerous dictionaries over the past several years. This is the best one Ive come across so far and keep it on tray/dock of my iPhone and iPad.

Great app.

Easy to find out the meaning of Japanese words!! Hasan

Fantastic.

Update Ver 1.7 Another update to a fantastic application. Simply the best dictionary in the appstore - and I should know I have bought most of them. Now faster with more features…whats not to love? Update Ver 1.6 An absolutely fantastic application that is well worth the money. The developer is actively updating the app and adding more and more features to it. I can think of a few minor additions that I would like to see, and I bet they make their way in to the app in the near future. It is fast and easy to find the word you are looking for and it also adds the verb conjugations and example sentences. It is easy to bookmark words and come back to them later. The translation function is very useful for copy and pasting whole articles, which you can then easily add all the words to a bookmark folder. I dont use the inbuilt flashcard app, but it looks to be very useful if you dont already have one. It is a universal app, and you dont need to buy it twice to get it to work on your other devices. What are you waiting for? This is the dictionary you are looking for…buy it! :)

Couldnt live without it

This app has changed my life in Japan. Love it, I use it every day and Im so grateful to whoever designed and keeps upgrading it. What I love most about this app is that it doesnt only translate things for you, but it teaches you to translate them by yourself as you learn new kanjis and words. Id like a feature to be added though, I want to select more than one character from lists to my bookmarks without having to go in and select them one by one. So instead of studying hundreds of new kanjis at the time, I could select the ones I want to study straight from lists. Thank you.

Thank you a lot!!!

Today I updated my favorite Midori. Now I have Midori with button for notes!!! You are best app makers, thank you again for the perfect app ☻☆彡

midori=imiwa

yes its basically the same in midori your just gonna pay for the translate function, some examples are not in midori but imiwa has it and vice versa, but imiwa is FREE

Almost perfect

Great, accurate, cheap and fast. I only wish the flash cards study, for instance by jlpt level, would have a direct link to the word displayed. I often want to bookmark the word or know the meaning of each kanji that constitute the word. Making that change would be tremendous! Thanks.
