Almost perfect
This app is really amazing. The multiple ways to search (romaji, hiragana, or kanji radicals, is incredibly convenient. I use it almost every day, primarily for inputting new words to the bookmark/flash card section.
The only problems I have are not about content, only usability.
One is that if you searched for a kanji character using the writing option, you have to use the correct stroke order. Obviously this is ideal for learning, but can be challenging if one hasnt learned the order already.
The other is that the flash cards only allow you to see the Japanese first, instead of offering English first as well. If there was the option to use either Japanese or English first, I fee like the language-learning benefit would be improved.
Again, despite my tiny usability issues, overall this app is incredibly useful, and anyone interested in learning Japanese will definitely benefit from it!
